TEAMS

FOUR PERSON TEAMS –PICK YOUR OWN TEAM. ALL TEAM MEMBERS MUST HAVE 2012 GUI SUB PAID

ENTRY REE   €80 PER TEAM / €20 PER PERSON MUST BE PAID UP FRONT

MARKERS-EACH TEAM MEMBER MUST PLAY WITH ANOTHER TEAM AS A MARKER ONCE. TEAMS TO NOMINATE IN ADVANCE WHO WILL ACT AS MARKER FOR EACH EVENT

THE MARKER WILL RECORD THE SCORE OF THE TEAM THAT HE ACCOMPANIES. THE TEAM THAT HE ACCOM PANIES WILL MARK HIS CARD

MARKERS STABLEFORD SCORE WILL BE ADDED TO HIS TEAMS FIXTURE SCORE EACH WEEK TO MAKE UP A TEAM TOTAL SCORE

USE OF SUBSTITUTES WILL BE ALLOWED-SUBS MUST HAVE PAID 2012

MEMBERSHIP. SUBSTITUTES CANNOT ACT AS OR BE NOMINATED AS MARKERS.

YOU MAY ACT AS A SUBSTITUTE. A SINGLES INDIVIDUAL STABLEFORD COMPETITION WILL BE RUN FOR MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN PICKED ON A TEAM.

Captains Drive In

Captains Seamus O Brien and Kathleen Lanigan will hold their Drive In on Sunday March 4^th.

As usual there will be a registration sheet in the clubhouse (056-7768122). Registrations will close at 17.00 on Friday 2^nd March. The draw for teams will take place on Saturday 3rd. The competition will be a team scramble with a shotgun start at 9.30. Members taking part are reminded that all subs must be fully paid.

Competition Cancelled

Last weekends 3 person rumble was cancelled due to severe frost on Sunday morning. Next weekends members competition will be a Fourball Better Ball.

Inter Club Competitions

The club is entered in the following interclub competitions, Barton Cup, Provincial Towns Cup, Pierce Purcell Shield and the Leinster Fourball Trophy. Any player wishing to be considered for any of the teams in the above competitions please contact the clubhouse for details of the eligibility requirements. The Pierce Purcell Shield takes place in St, Helens Bay GC on the weekend of May 19^th and 20^th. The club will play Gowran Park GC in the Provincial Towns Cup, Kilkenny GC in the Barton Cup and the winners of Waterford GC and Mt. Juliet GC in the Leinster Fourball Trophy. Inter Club Competitions

AGM

Mountain View Ladies Club held their AGM last Wednesday in the clubhouse. The following officers were elected:- Captain Kathleen Lanigan, President Ann Foskin, Secretrary Magaret Murphy, Treasurer Nuala Cummins and Handicap Secretrary Imelda Moloney.

New Tee Box’s

Construction work is continuing on seven new tee box’s and will be in progress over the coming weeks. When work is completed holes 3, 4, 8, 9, 12, 14, and 16 will all have new Blue Marker tees extending the total length of the course by 200 yards.

Membership

Members whom have not renewed their membership are reminded that subscriptions are now due

Loyalty Card

The new member/green fee loyalty card is now up and running where members and green fees can receive free a round golf after every five rounds played. Terms and conditions apply. Contact golf shop for details.
